1. Pick a piece
Both players share one pool of pieces (3 by default). On your turn, tap a piece to select it. Pieces show in the colour of the player whose turn it is.
Two players take turns painting a 9×9 board with shared pieces. Complete rows, columns and 3×3 boxes in your colour to score.

Press Rotate (R) to turn the piece a quarter turn. Press Flip (F) to mirror it, if flipping is allowed in the settings.
Tap the board: the piece's top-left corner goes on that square. It can cover empty squares and your opponent's squares, but never a square that is already your colour.
Make a full row, column or bold 3×3 box in your colour: you get +9 points for each one, and those squares are wiped clean.
Pass (P) only works when no piece fits anywhere; it gives a fresh pool. After two passes in a row the game ends, and the higher score wins.
